
Qubit, a personalization
tech provider, has promoted Matthew Tamsett as head of data science, the company announced on Tuesday. Tamsett had previously served as a data scientist with the firm.
Tamsett will lead
Qubit’s data science team in developing products based on research into consumer behavior online.
He hopes to explore “how the latest machine learning methods can be applied to
real-life problems at Google-scale," he states.
Prior to joining Qubit, Tamsett was Marie Curie Post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Sussex. Among his papers is one on the
Higgs Boson discovery.
He is scheduled to speak at the AI Congress London on Wednesday.
