AdMore's Condon Named CRO, Comcast Spotlight

Former AdMore president Brendan Condon has been named the new Chief Revenue Officer, Comcast Spotlight, the local advertising sales division of Comcast Cable.

Condon will be responsible for Comcast Spotlight’s sales revenue, execution and effectiveness across all lines of business, focusing on customer experience and account management to drive revenue growth.

For the first six months of this year, local cable advertising at Comcast Corp. grew 5.7% to $1.2 billion. For all of 2017, local cable advertising declined 8.8% to $2.3 billion -- dropping sharply in the fourth quarter, due to a decline in political advertising.

Condon replaces Roland Trombley, a longtime Comcast Spotlight executive who left the company earlier this year.

Previously, Condon was president of AdMore, a programmatic TV advertising platform, and Cannella Media’s REVShare, a short-form direct-response company.

Condon was also CEO, Media Properties Holdings, which was part of The Carlyle Group prior to its sale to Cannella Media. In 2016, Cannella Response Television acquired Media Properties Holdings, parent of AdMore.

He also held senior advertising positions at AOL and Time Warner.
