Networks Ramp Up New-Season Promos

Heading into the new TV season, the top broadcast networks (CBS, ABC, and NBC) and two cable networks (HGTV and Fox News Channel) are ramping up on-air promotion of their shows and brands.

Over the last two weeks, CBS/Paramount+ has been heavily promoting two major prime-time shows, “Cupertino” -- which premieres October 8) and “NCIS: New York” (premiering October 6).

For all its promotions, the network has run on-air messaging that resulted in a leading 3.6 billion impressions overall for the last two weeks of August, according to iSpot. That gives CBS/Paramount+ a commanding 13.6% market share.

“Cupertino” is about a slighted Silicon Valley lawyer who teams up with another fired attorney to defend hard-done-by technology workers . “NCIS: New York” is a spinoff of the longtime-franchise.”
