Spectrum Internet Service Out In Path Of Storm

Spectrum users have lost internet service in parts of the South and the East Coast, according to downdetector.

The outages seem to follow the path of Hurricane Michael as the remainder storm tears up the coast. However, service slowdowns were also reported in Nebraska and Southern California on Friday afternoon.

Of the Spectrum complaints coming in to downdetector, 60% were related to internet service, and 19% to a total blackout.

“No internet in Graham NC and power was just restored,” writes one customer.

According to Newsweek, Spectrum has tweeted to users: "My apologies for the issues you are having with your internet. Our technicians are still working to restore the service in your area. Unfortunately, we are not given ETA's by the field technicians so we would be unable to provide that information for you."
