Jaguar Land Rover and Clarks are collaborating on a unique project: a men’s shoe collection.
The “Life. Limitless” range draw on both brands' shared reputation for design and innovation, according to the companies.
Ten collections will be launched in the next five years, one each spring and one each fall. The first three designs are on sale now via the shoe company’s website, clarks.com and in selected Clarks retailers.
Each will adhere to three core design principles: grip, environment and stability, says Jason Beckley, chief brand officer at Clarks.
“Much like the Land Rover vehicles, the shoes are terrain-appropriate, providing practicality and comfort in equal measure to the wearer, elements that are core to our DNA,” Beckley says in a release.

The shoes are being marketed as offering the durability and “world-beating” British design for which both brands are known.
Jaguar Land Rover has never partnered with a clothing or shoe brand previously, according to a JLR spokesman.
The lightest style, called CLR.51N, is created with the city in mind. The mid-range CLR52.N shoe is the most versatile design, while the third, CLR53.N has been engineered for protection and comfort in rugged environments.
