The digital video platform Vimeo has partnered with the professional social network LinkedIn on a product integration, boosting the video capabilities for the social network, while giving Vimeo users broader distribution of their content.
The integration was designed for companies that maintain LinkedIn pages, as well as LinkedIn users who use the network as a professional communications tool.
The partnership adds LinkedIn to Vimeo’s Push to Social feature, which currently works with Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
The integration will allow Vimeo users to publish videos to their LinkedIn pages with a Single click.
It will also allow for aggregated video analytics, letting users of the video platform track the performance of their content across LinkedIn and other social platforms. Vimeo videos uploaded to LinkedIn are treated as a native upload, allowing for better reach and engagement.
Users can customize and monetize their Vimeo videos through the same dashboard.
The companies say this is LinkedIn’s first end-to-end integration with a video platform, part of a larger push for video content on its network.
