Los Angeles-based agency RPA is elevating Krystle Mullin and Ariel Shukert who work on the Honda and La-Z-Boy businesses, from associate creative directors to create directors. They report to Joe
Baratelli, executive vice president/chief creative officer.
The promotions are as much about their leadership skills as their client work. Both are involved with a number of passion
projects at RPA, including events and workshops that aim to address the lack of diversity in senior-level creative roles. Last March, they helped organize the Cannes Lions: See It Be It LA event at
RPA, an initiative designed to promote equal representation of female and male creative directors across the industry.
