Kustomer, provider of a customer management platform, has raised $35 million in Series C funding, and hopes to position itself as an alternative to Salesforce, Oracle and Zendesk.
The funding round was led by Battery Ventures, a new investor, and brings Kustomer's total financing to $73.5 million. Also participating were existing investors Redpoint Ventures, Canaan Partners, Boldstart Ventures, Social Leverage and Cisco Investments.
Kustomer hopes to use the money to expand internationally, to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and to invest in its platform and launch new products.
Neeraj Agrawal, a general partner at Battery Ventures, will join Kustomer's board of directors.
Founded in 2015, Kustomer serves such brands as Ring, Rent the Runway, Glovo, Glossier, Away, Slice, Sweetgreen and UNTUCKit.
