Berkshire Hathaway's Cort Jumps From Ogilvy To Hothouse

Berkshire Hathaway's CORT is appointing Atlanta-based Hothouse as the rental furniture provider’s new creative and marketing agency of record. Ogilvy Atlanta previously held the account.

Hothouse will oversee strategic planning and creative development for print, collateral, digital, email, direct mail, broadcast/video, tradeshow and internal communications, as well as support marketing communications needs on behalf of CORT for Tapdn, an Internet of Things platform for workplace optimization, and OpnSpace, a coworking booking app.

While Cort is best known for its short-term furniture rentals for home and office, the company also provides event rental furnishings, global relocation services and operates more than 100 brick-and-mortar rental showrooms across the U.S.
