Engine Tap's Bloomberg's Grossman For COO Role

Marketing agency holding company Engine has appointed Keith Grossman as the company's first global chief operating officer, effective next month. Grossman is joining the group from Bloomberg Media, where he has been chief revenue officer since 2016.

The appointment follows by about six months Engine’s hiring of former UM U.S. CEO Kasha Cacy as global CEO. Not surprisingly, Engine said Grossman will work closely with Cacy on various company initiatives including its long-term growth strategy, aligning and optimizing sales, marketing, and new product opportunities across the global business.

"The past year has been transformational for Engine. Partnering with a force like Keith, who brings the energy and expertise we need to take our business to the next level is another strategic move that positions Engine for exponential growth and innovation," stated Cacy.

Grossman is credited with being a key player in the development of TicToc by Bloomberg, a news brand built for social media.  He also played a role in the creation of Bloomberg’s programmatic business.

Prior to Bloomberg Media, Grossman worked at Ars Technica and Wired, where he launched the award-winning Wired Tablet Edition.
