The Times is reporting that the WPP renumeration committee has taken legal advice and decided not to withhold a GBP2m bonus from its founder and former Chief Executive, Sir Martin Sorrell.
The paper points out the payment is based on the previous performance of the company which Sorrell left suddenly last April.
