Jacki Kelley Joins Dentsu Aegis In Top U.S. Client Role

Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has appointed agency and media company veteran Jacki Kelley to the newly created position of president, chief client officer, Dentsu Aegis, U.S.

Kelley will report to Dentsu Aegis Network Americas CEO Nick Brien and will join both the Dentsu Aegis Network U.S. Executive Team and the Dentsu Aegis Network Global Senior Leadership Forum.

The appointment marks the addition of yet another former senior level media executive from Mediabrands, part of Interpublic, where Kelley help several top roles before joining Bloomberg Media in 2014 as chief operating officer. She was elevated to COO Bloomberg LP in 2017.

Prior to Bloomberg Kelley was the CEO, North America, and president of global clients for IPG Mediabrands as well as Global CEO, Universal McCann (UM). Earlier she held senior posts at Yahoo and USA Today.

In her new role Kelley is tasked with delivering on DAN’s brand promise of an integrated and simplified client experience across the network which includes agencies mcgarrybowen, Carat, iProspect, Merkle, 360i and Isobar. She’ll also help define partnership opportunities with sell-side platforms and media owners and advise on Dentsu’s M&A strategy.

In addition to Kelley, the roster of former Mediabrands executives now at DAN includes Henry Tajer, Brian Monahan, Tim Spengler, and Kris Magel. Former Mediabrands CEO Matt Seiler also joined DAN, in early 2018, but is no longer with the company.
