ClickDimensions, a firm that provides a marketing platform for Microsoft Dynamics 365 users, has acquired Sweetspot, a marketing dashboard provider. Terms were not
disclosed.
Clients of ClickDimensions will have access to campaign, channel and revenue performance data, the firm says. ClickDimensions expects to debut a new dashboard
this summer.
Founded in 2010, ClickDimensions helps brands with email marketing, campaign automation, web intelligence, surveys, web forms and landing pages and social
marketing. However, it felt the need to expand its marketing analytics capability.
“As evidenced by the recent spate of acquisitions of data platforms by marketing
technology providers, data is more critical than ever to modern marketers’ success,” said Mike Dickerson, CEO of ClickDimensions.
Sweetspot was founded with
the goal of turning “big data into useful data,” states Sergio Maldonado, founder and chairman of Sweetspot.
The combined offering will also include prebuilt
views and KPIs based on best practices, ClickDimensions says.
