In-house specialist agency Oliver has boosted its global senior leadership with the addition of Richard Stainer, who has been appointed CEO, global clients. 

Stainer’s appointment follows the recent acquisition of Oliver’s parent firm, Inside Ideas Group, by You & Mr Jones, founded by former Havas Group CEO David Jones a few years back.

Stainer is tasked with expanding Oliver’s in-house service to global brand clients. He will report to Simon Martin, founder and CEO of Oliver and Inside Ideas Group.

He brings two decades’ worth of leadership experience in global advertising and communications, most recently as Partner and Global Head of Media at international talent consulting firm Odgers Berndtson.

Earlier, Stainer held CEO and managing director roles at TBWA and BBH. He started his career at DDB. He’s run global accounts like Audi, Diageo, Heineken and others.
