Havas New York Names Anderson New CMO

Matthew Anderson is departing BBH New York to join Havas New York as CMO. He will oversee all marketing, communications and business development for the flagship creative agency.

This is a newly created position at parent Havas. It strengthens its Villages concept that places media and creative side-by-side in a bid to better deliver seamless integration.

CMOs work across the entire customer journey.

“As we continue to ignite growth and strengthen our creative reputation, new business remains a top priority,” said Laura Maness, CEO, Havas New York. She added Anderson has the skills critical to the job and “an undeniable chemistry with our team.”

With more than 20 years of industry experience that spans advertising, digital pure plays and PR, Anderson has worked at a number of different agencies. Most recently at BBH New York, he was Chief Growth Officer and Head of Strategic Partnerships.
