CEO Change At Omnicom's Proximity Worldwide

Proximity Worldwide, Omnicom Group’s digital creative, data and CRM agency, has promoted Mike Dodds to Global CEO responsible for the performance of the network’s 23 offices across 21 countries.

Dodds, previously global president, succeeds Doug Worple, who is being bumped up to chairman of the network, a perch from which he will oversee M&A activity, partnerships and evaluate the agency’s overall offering with an eye to expanding it.

Specifically the agency said it intends to redouble efforts to link its creative output with performance-based personalized marketing techniques.

Proximity is part of the Omnicom Precision Marketing Group, run by CEO Luke Taylor who stated “Moving Doug and Mike into these new roles will allow Proximity to develop and deepen existing relationships and deliver true real-time personalization at scale across all major markets.”
