London-based media and marketing consultancy mediasense has promoted Sam Tomlinson to CEO.
He replaces Jamie Posnanski, who the company said has returned to the U.S. to “focus on personal commitments.”
Tomlinson joined mediasense in 2024 as chief client officer following the acquisition of
PwC’s U.K. Marketing & Media advisory business, which he founded and led.
The same year, the company acquired media advisory firm R3 Worldwide.

Graham Brown, founder and director of
mediasense, said: “When we welcomed Sam and his team into mediasense in 2024, we brought one of the industry’s most respected marketing advisory leaders into the business. Since
then, he has had a clear impact on our clients, our people and our strategic direction.”
He added that Tomlinson has “a very clear view of where marketing is heading.”
