WPP has sold its post-production services company The Farm Group, to Los Angeles-based Picture Shop. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
The holding company said the sale is in line with WPP’s ongoing streamlining effort, which includes shedding so-called “non-core” assets.
WPP has a major global production company, Hogarth Worldwide. Among its many services is, you guessed it, post-production.
Sounds like The Farm Group was redundant, at least within the holding company stable.
You’ll be happy to know WPP wishes all the good folks at The Farm Group well as they begin their next chapter.
