After becoming wildly popular following its debut in New Zealand, Pedigree is bringing its line of dog-selfie phone accessories to U.S. pet owners along with a suite of related new apps.
The Pedigree Dentastix Studios includes the PupBooth tool to build upon the SelfieStix app so people can add 3D filters to their dog faces and share these images. DogDays invites owners to use the Pedigree SelfieStix clip to take a daily photo of their dog which the app then transforms into a shareable film of moments in their dogs’ lives.
The original project, developed in late 2017 by Colenso BBDO, was credited with driving a double-digit increase in Dentastix sales.
