McCann, Publicis Add Health Leaders

The Health practices of both McCann and Publicis are strengthening their leadership teams with new positions. 

McCann Health is promoting Hilary Gentile from Chief Strategy Officer, North America to the newly created position of Global Chief Strategy Officer. As part of the global leadership team, she will be responsible for the group's strategic and creative product globally.

The 20-year agency veteran will report to Global CEO John Cahill. 

“Her extensive background and understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape will help us supercharge our efforts across the world as we seek to help our clients and their brands play a meaningful role in people’s lives across the patient, payer and provider spectrum," stated Suzanne Powers, Global Chief Strategy Officer, McCann Worldgroup.

Separately, Publicis Health has promoted Andrew Spurgeon to Chief Creative Officer Europe, with overall responsibility for the creative output from all Publicis Health agencies in Europe. In this newly created role, he will report to both Philip Chin, President Europe, Publicis Health and to Kathy Delaney, Global CCO, Publicis Health.

Additionally, Victoria Wright is promoted to group managing director, adding Langland UK to the portfolio of Publicis Health agencies under her direction in the UK.

This move follows the departure of Alison Ferrucci, general manager at Langland UK, who was at the agency for 18 years. Wright will continue to report to Philip Chin.
