DiscoverOrg Rebrands As ZoomInfo, Offers New B2B Data Platform

DiscoverOrg, which acquired ZoomInfo last February, is rebranding itself with that name and is releasing a new platform for B2B sales and marketing teams.

The new product, ZoomInfo Powered By DiscoverOrg, embeds newly “refreshed data into both technology and process workflows, to more effectively go-to-market and keep the revenue engine running at all times,” states ZoomInfo CEO Henry Schuck.

Among the features of the new offering is real-time email validation of contact records and lower email bounce rates, partly due to the recent acquisition of NeverBounce.

The combined company will support the legacy tools of ZoomInfo and DiscoverOrg for existing customers, and will also offer upgrades to one o three subscription packages, and new clients will be onboarded to the new platform, the firm says.

One outsider, Michael Levy, principal of GZ Consulting, says ZoomInfo is now “well placed to challenge LinkedIn Sales Navigator as the top sales intelligence service in North America."

In addition to the email enhancement, existing customers will see these new features, the company says:

  • Functional organizational charts, intent signals, and buying scoops uncovered by researchers
  • Improved integrations with sales and marketing systems, including the Enrich application.  This allows firms to append and cleanse data directly into their go-to-market systems, the firm says
  • More accurate firmographic and demographic data
  • Better technographic information, thanks to new capabilities

The renamed company claims annual recurring revenue of $350 million and 13,000 customers.

Last March, DiscoverOrg announced it had acquired NeverBounce, and said that the firm’s technology would be used toclean and verify email addresses contained in the DiscoverOrg and ZoomInfo platforms.
