GroupM's MediaCom unit has named Nadine Thomson its first-ever Global Chief Technology Officer.

Thomson, who reports to MediaCom Global Chief Digital Officer Deirdre McGlashan, will be based in London.

She had been a technology consultant at News UK and Capita Group, and prior to that was group technology director at Conde Nast International until June 2018.

At MediaCom, Thomson will lead MediaCom’s Global Data Solutions team, the internal technology team who build MediaCom’s proprietary tools and systems, working closely with GroupM's and parent WPP's technology management teams.
