Brand Consultancy Triptk, part of Havas Creative North America, is making the leap from advisor to doer with the opening of a new branding and digital design offering in New York City.
Design veteran Daniel Arenas has been tapped to lead the new operation. He will report to Triptk CEO Sam Hornsby.
Arenas brings more than a decade of design experience to his new role, including a stint as design director at Redscout, part of MDC Partners, where he worked with companies like Uber and Best Buy.
He was also the founder and creative director at New York City-based design collective Sunday Morning. Triptk and Sunday Morning frequently collaborated on projects.
A number of branding and design specialists from Sunday Morning are joining Arenas at the new practice, called Triptk Design.
According to Triptk, the expansion move follows a year of significant growth and the addition of new clients, including T-Mobile and The Cronos Group.
Paul Marobella, chairman and CEO of Havas Creative North America, said the expansion is an investment in a fast-growing operation with a lot of potential. A growing number of marketers, he said, “are looking for high-growth services including design language and design systems.”
