Lincoln Financial Group Encourages Awkward Chats

Lincoln Financial Group is launching its latest spot to coincide with the holiday season -- when millions of people gather around the dinner table -- to underscore how few Americans talk with loved ones about long-term financial planning.

The “The (Un)Spoken Plan," developed with FCB New York, features a social experiment called “Restaurant Talks” where hidden cameras captured real, unsuspecting families talking about finances.

The effort follows the “Face The Conversation" video which challenged people to have these same types of financial conversations with loved ones via video chat.
