Horizon's 305 Worldwide Adds First Major Hire

305 Worldwide, Horizon Media's joint venture with musician Pitbull (Armando Christian Perez), is appointing Sandra Alfaro as executive vice president, managing partner.

In the newly created role, Alfaro will spearhead development of multicultural content and creative solutions at the agency.

In addition, Alfaro will partner with Horizon's Multicultural practice to leverage the full resources of Horizon Media for her clients.

305 Worldwide operates in both Miami and New York, and Alfaro will be based out of Horizon Media’s New York City headquarters.

“Sandra brings unique expertise to engage multicultural audiences,” says Bill Koenigsberg, President, CEO and founder, Horizon Media.

Alfaro has more than 25 years of marketing experience, primarily focused on U.S. Hispanic consumers. She most recently served as managing director of Wing, the multicultural agency of WPP’s Grey Group. During her five-year tenure, she helped to add new clients such as Pfizer, Papa John’s, Lilly and Nestle, as well as land the agency its first Effie.
