The California Immunization Coalition is raising awareness about flu season by reminding people how vulnerable they are to catching this illness.
The “FluDropped” creative, developed with The Community’s San Francisco office, uses iPhone’s cloud-like AirDrop feature as a metaphor to remind viewers how many random
people they encounter on a daily basis. The image being passed around shows a man sneezing and says “If you’re close enough to get this, you’re close enough to get the
flu.”
The campaign is also partnering with medical school and public health students to emphasize this message though their own respective networks. The initiative runs
through April, peaking around January.
