
The Community has appointed Frank Cartagena as Chief Creative
Officer to oversee all creative output for the multicultural agency’s New York-based clients. He'll also contribute to new business efforts at the office.
Cartagena reports to President
Luis Montero and Co-Founders Jose and Joaquin Mollá. He replaces Bobby Hershfield, who served as vice president and executive creative director of The Community’s New York office before
leaving last year to join The Via Agency as its CCO.
Cartagena most recently served as executive creative director at 360i, part of Dentsu Aegis Network where, he won more than 70
creative accolades at various awards shows. Earlier in his career, Cartagena rotated through several agencies, including KBS, Deutsch, DDB New York, Arnold Worldwide, and Hill Holiday.
Part of
Publicis Groupe, the community New York first opened in 2017 and is part of the agency’s network of offices which includes locations in Miami, Buenos Aires, London, and San Francisco.
