The US is insisting that its tech giants are protected from a new wave of harsher regulation being introduced across Europe after the UK leaves the EU.
The Telegraph claims that protecting
the likes of Facebook and Google will be central to trade talks, which will require the tech giants to be seen as intermediaries rather than publishers responsible for content users post on their
sites.
