Horizon Brings Company Culture To Home Offices With New Online Hub

Horizon is launching an internal communications platform as a way to transfer the agency’s culture to those working from home.

The hub is designed to serve as a online community gathering forum for employees.  Content ranges from popular entertainment, health and wellness to an events calendar and activities for employees and their families.

The platform encourages interaction by inviting team members to share a glimpse of their WFH life by submitting their own videos and images. There is currently a call-to-action seeking dance moves timed to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” that will be mashed up into one video.

One section is devoted to puppies. Molly Sugarman, vice president managing director, recently organized an online doggie rescue mission that raised more than $2,000 from 200+ online participants. Staffers are invited to submit pictures of their pups to be featured in an agency-wide pet gallery.

The platform isn’t solely devoted to non-work. There is a training section to enable people to gain additional skills and expertise during their time away from corporate headquarters.
