StrawberryFrog Reimagines Intern Program As Marketing Masterclass

Earlier this year StrawberryFrog shelved its traditional paid internship program due to the pandemic. Now the agency is offering what it’s calling a “Movement Think” masterclass online in July that will teach fundamental agency tactics and strategies.

The one-day program will split into sessions that will focus on areas like creative and account and project management that will be led senior executives at the agency.

“Young blood is the future of the marketing and creative communications industry,” explains Scott Goodson, co-founder/CEO, StrawberryFrog. “Despite COVID-19 we wanted to do something valuable to guide and help students and interns, at a time without regular internships.

The project was conceived after the agency received more than 700 applications for its annual summer intern program known as “Tadpoles.”

“We realize how challenging it is under normal circumstances for young, talented ambitious young bloods to break into the business,” says Goodson. He and his team conceived of an online seminar that could reach up to 2,000 students and interns. Already several universities have asked to participate.

The session takes place July 16 at 1 p.m. EST. The 2,000 spaces are first-come, first-serve. Registration details can be found here.
