If not for the pandemic the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity would be just around the corner and many of you would be heading across the pond for a week of inspiration, learning, networking and in some cases award receiving.

I know it’s not the same but there is potential learning and inspiration available via a week of online sessions that the Festival is holding, dubbed Lions Live from June 22-26.

A bunch of CMO’s will on hand (virtually) including Endeavor’s Bozoma Saint John and Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Pedro Earp. So will creative luminaries like FCB’s Susan Credle and Adam & Eve/DDB’s Richard Brim.

The always-inspiring author and educator Scott Galloway will be participating along with many others.

And some awards will be bestowed including the Lion of St. Mark lifetime achievement award which is going to a woman—the legendary Mary Wells Lawrence—for the first time.  Long overdue don’t you think?
