Freshworks Inc., a provider of customer engagement software, including email support, has acquired Flint, an IT and cloud management platform. Terms were not disclosed.
The purchase will help Freshworks take “the legwork out of tedious, repeatable tasks so IT teams can focus on high impact work,” states Prakash Ramamurthy, CPO at Freshworks.
Ramamurthy adds that Freshworks “felt the pressure of today’s remote environment as we went from 13 workplaces to 3,000+ home offices in a matter of days.”
This is Freshworks’ third acquisition in the past year. The others are Natero Inc., a customer engagement firm, and AnsweriQ Inc., which adds to the capabilities of the firm’s AI engine: Freddy AI.
