With Maurice Levy's Work Done There, WeWork Hires Two To Fill His Shoes

Maurice Levy’s work at WeWork wrapped about four months ago and the company has hired two executives to fill the interim roles he held.

The latest hire, or more precisely promotion, is Lauren Fritts, who has been elevated to Chief Communications Officer, one of the roles held by Levy during his tenure at the firm from December of last year through March.

Fritts has been with the company about three years and was previously vice president of public affairs and corporate communications.

Levy, formerly the longtime CEO at Publicis Groupe and now chairman of its board agreed last year to serve as interim Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at the struggling shared workspace provider at the request of WeWork executive chairman Marcelo Claure.

Shortly after Levy left, WeWork announced the appointment of Roger Solé as its new CMO. He previously held the same post at Sprint.
