Move over Subaru, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Nissan and all the other automotive brands who have used dogs in their marketing.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is launching its first #JeepTopCanine search this summer.
“Jeep enthusiasts are known to have their dogs buckled up with them as they seek out adventure, proudly featuring them along with their favorite Jeep vehicle in social media content through the years,” according to the automaker.
Consumers can visit the site to view submissions, with voting on eight finalists selected by Jeep from Aug. 11-18. As of Tuesday afternoon, the contest already had more than 750 submissions.
Jeep’s top dog will be crowned on Aug. 26, National Dog Day, and will be featured in the brand's social media content for one year.
The brand is promoting the contest on social media, including Instagram.
