Country band Sugarland is lending its song “Stand Up" to serve as the soundtrack for this year’s STOMP Out Bullying PSA that seeks to spread the message of kindness during the month of
October.
The creative, developed with Flint & Steel and Rooftop2 Productions, recognizes the current pandemic realities by
showcasing teens individually singing the tune a cappella via their own video link. The voices are then compiled into a harmonized melody.
Students and adults traditionally recognize #BlueUp
by wearing the STOMP Out Bullying blue shirt or their own on the first Monday of October, but this year organizers are encouraging people to celebrate kindness all month, or longer.
