Email Industries, an email technology provider, has debuted a new email deliverability and compliance product to help email service providers (ESPs) and their clients.
The new offering, AlfredKnows, is now in closed Beta. It is available to selected email service providers, marketing automation firms, CRMs and sales enablement tools, the company says.
Email Industries describes AlfredKnows as an ESP-friendly email verification service. It is designed to work with BlackBox, the firm’s email compliance service.
Clients can use the firm’s Risk Scoring API and new Deliverability Scoring API to assess the quality of email lists and addresses prior to deployment.
The objective is to offer an alternative to traditional abuse prevention practices that are “incredibly costly to ESPs on nearly every level,” states Scott Hardigree, founder of Email Industries.
Hardigree adds: “Bad actors and bad email lists are wholly responsible for an ESP's inability to deliver email to the inbox which, after all, is their core function.”
Participating ESPs, and their clients, will be able to preemptively assess the quality of any email list, or email address, prior to deployment.
The company will provide these assessments at little or no cost to ESPs that refer their senders to AlfredKnows for list verification, and might be open to a revenue-sharing revenue with ESP partners, states Gerald Marshall, head of Operations for Email Industries.
Marshall adds: "We feel a referral model will make the product more accessible to small to mid-sized ESPs."
