Venables Bell + Partners (VB+P) is teaming with industry veterans Trace Cohen and Joe Kleinschmidt to launch BRAIVE, a shop to help companies create synergy between their brand and AI strategy and execution.
VB+P serves as majority owner. But it intentionally created a “clear separation” between VB+P and BRAIVE to support the latter’s expertise in the AI space, particularly with respect to strategy and technological applications, says Kate Jeffers, Partner, COO, VB+P.
“Our intent is not to be another advertising agency that is ‘dabbling’ in AI, but rather, to leverage expertise in AI to support the development of holistic brand strategies that include an expression of a brand’s values and personalities through AI,” says Jeffers.
BRAIVE’s process begins with workshops that devise a so-called “Brand AI Playbook” for clients for both consumer and B2B campaigns.
Cohen is a 30-year industry veteran who has served at Razorfish and Publicis. Kleinschmidt hails from Silicon Valley, having served as a two-time startup founder, including Obindo, an AI-based digital assistant that integrates seamlessly into the workflow of large organizations.
