Havas Group has acquired Sydney, Australia-based independent media services agency Hyland, and will integrate it into Havas Media Group as part of a broader plan to provide a “comprehensive offering” in the Australia and New Zealand region.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Hyland was founded in 2005, and the acquisition brings Havas Media Group’s organization to 100 people in the Sydney office.

Hyland’s client roster includes Coty, Etihad Airways, Sydney Airport, Deliveroo and Church & Dwight.

Hyland Founder and CEO Virginia Hyland becomes managing director of Havas’ Hyland Divison, and will work alongside Havas Media Group ANZ Chairman Mike Wilson and Havas Media Group ANZ CEO Matt Houltham.
