Digital experience firm Sitecore has named Steve Tzikakis as CEO.

Mark Frost, who will continue as an advisor to the firm, served as CEO for three years and worked with the board on a transition plan. 

During Frost’s tenure, Sitecore board chairman Jonas Persson says, the company "expanded our product portfolio, shifted our business model to cloud, and made significant progress on our path to SaaS.”

Tzikakis -- who has served for five years as president of SAP’s South Europe, Middle East, and Africa region -- will be based in Sitecore’s London office, and says he expects to accelerate the company's global expansion plans.

Demand for Sitecore’s digital services has grown during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company notes.
