Michael Kahn's Astounding New Adventure

Publicis Groupe veteran Michael Kahn has been named Global CEO of San Francisco based ecommerce solutions provider Astound Commerce.

Kahn is tasked with, well, running the whole shebang (along with the company founders), with a focus on accelerating growth and developing strategy.

Kahn was global brand president at Digitas North America from October 2017 until March of this year. For the previously dozen years he was with Publicis Groupe performance marketing company Performics, including a three-plus stint as Global CEO.

Astound has been around for 20 years and has worked with brands like Allergan, Boohoo, TOMS, Calvin Klein, PUMA, Under Armour and many others. Kahn will work alongside Astound Commerce Co-Founders Ilya Vinogradsky, Igor Gorin, and Roman Martynenko. 

Stated Kahn: “It would be accurate to say that I am astounded by this opportunity because I so greatly respect what Astound Commerce has accomplished since its start in 2000: how it transitioned after the Fluid and Groove acquisitions, and for its continued growth during this global pandemic.”

Kahn will serve as a member of the Astound Board of Directors and act as Chairman of the Managing Board.
