Email security firm Agari is offering several new features as part of its Fall '20 release, including tools designed to help chief information security officers (CISOs) cope with phishing attempts.

The new features include: 

Agari Brand Protection — A tool that helps CISO organizations ensure that emails sent from their own domains to internal addresses land in the right inbox. It also covers emails to third-party SaaS services.  

Agari Phishing Defense — This enables firms to locally tailor email risk scoring and reduce false positives, the company claims. 

Agari Active Defense — This provides global business email compromise (BEC) insights and analysis designed to help firms anticipate and prepare for BEC attacks.  

Armen L. Najarian, chief identity officer at Agari, argues that phishing defense solutions for CISO firms have to understand “sender identity to protect the workforce from vicious email impersonation attacks."
