Republica Havas Sets Up Custom Media Unit, Taps Publishing Veteran Beazel To Run It

Miami-based Havas multicultural agency Republica Havas has launched a new global custom media, content and publishing division called Havas House. Media and marketing veteran Marisa Beazel has joined Havas and will run the new unit as president and publisher.

Havas House will manage all aspects of publishing, digital and marketing initiatives for clients, from concept development and content curation to photography, design, editing, and print management.

It will have access to Havas’ array of resources and capabilities including creative, digital, social marketing, media, public relations and experiential.

The new unit will work with Havas Group agencies and brands worldwide.  

Most recently, Beazel was president and publisher of McClatchy’s custom-publishing and promotion subsidiary HCP Media. Several members of the HCP leadership team have also joined Havas House.

Beazel and her team have managed partnerships for numerous brands in the custom media space, including Marriott International, Cayman Airways, Jamaica Tourist Board, the Los Cabos Hotel Association, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival.

Earlier, Beazel served at travel media company Ink and Modern Luxury.
