
Ford Motor Co.’s Warriors in Pink will deliver more than
700,000 masks to treatment centers and organizations across the nation for breast cancer patients, survivors and their families.
The masks can be worn to and from medical appointments to help
protect them from COVID-19.
A Warriors in Pink-wrapped Ford Transit van will deliver more than 173,000 masks to Southeast Michigan treatment centers in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness
Month.
On Oct. 13, Ford Warriors in Pink lit up Ford Field to support METAvivor in the fight against metastatic and advanced breast cancer.
Ford has been dedicated to the fight
against breast cancer for more than 26 years.
The automaker created a dedicated website at Ford Warriors in Pink to promote and educate
about the charitable group’s mission.
With transportation one of the biggest barriers to treatment for patients, the company works together with Susan G. Komen and The Pink Fund to
provide grants that help patients with transportation needs or assist with car payments.
Ford has donated more than $138 million to the cause, with 100% of net proceeds from its
inspirational clothing and accessories line dedicated to organizations that eliminate mobility barriers.
