MessageGears And Sageflo Team Up On Data Access For Email, SMS Campaigns

Marketing software company MessageGears has formed an integration with Sageflo, a provider of campaign management software, to help brands more easily access data for targeting.

MessageGears software is now integrated with Sageflo’s Radiate product, a tool that facilitates the building and launch of branded email, push and SMS messages.

The arrangement is designed to help distributed marketers “send messages easily and securely, without the data friction issues that have always been an impediment to this process,” states Walter Rowland, senior vice president of growth at MessageGears.

MessageGears describes data friction as what happens when there is a major lag in synchronization between internal data systems and a marketer’s email service provider (ESP).

The company cites 2018 research showing that 25% of marketers wish their ESP would improve real-time data access — their top concern.

The integration combines the data access capability of  MessageGears and the ability of Radiate to enforce brand alignment across message content, states Aaron Smith, CEO at Sageflo.

Sageflo also features an approval flow that allows corporate or regional marketers to approve emails before they are scheduled at the local level, the company says.

The first joint customer is a quick-serve restaurant brand with over 700 franchise locations, the firms say, although they did not identify the chain.
