The One Club For Creativity’s One Show 2021 is open for entries and this year’s programming has been impacted by the pandemic, including extended deadlines and new categories/disciplines that reflect the way the industry now works.

Three categories have been reassessed and adjusted to maintain relevancy. Innovation & Transformation is an new category added to each discipline to recognize the ingenuity required to overcome limitations imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Virtual Events has more award opportunities in the experiential categories in several disciplines expanded to accommodate the variety of events taking place in digital environments. And Music & Sound Craft, for the first time, is being offered as a separate discipline with its own jury.

To raise awareness for the show, the organization teamed with Wolff Olins to develop the “Embrace the Moment” campaign. The campaign presents a series of animated vignettes that reflect how screens have become an essential part of ourselves. The agency partnered with renowned Swedish artist Magoz on the art in order to channel the psychedelic vision of “Yellow Submarine” by The Beatles, who were the first client of Wolff Olins. 

Judging will be conducted online, no physical entries will be accepted this year.  All entry media must be uploaded into the online entry system.

The One Show 2021 juries will also be announced shortly. Online judging will take place March through May 2021, with finalists announced in mid-May.  The One Show 2021 Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencil winners will be announced on June 9-10, 2021.
