Josh Stella has returned to the CEO position at cloud security firm Fugue, and David Mitchell has been named president and chief operating officer, the company announced on Monday.
Former CEO Phillip Merrick is leaving the company. Stella will remain as chairman of the board and chief technology officer.
Mitchell worked with Merrick at webMethods and succeeded him as CEO. Mitchell has served in leadership roles in such enterprise software companies as Appian, Global360, and VersionOne.
Merrick is credited with leading Fugue through the development and launch of its SaaS cloud-security product.
