Cofense Adds Auto Quarantine To Its Email Security Suite

Anti-phishing firm Cofense has added what it calls an Auto Quarantine feature to its Cofense Vision suite.

The new tool removes malicious emails from inboxes based on knowledge of similar threats in other customer environments, the firm says.

Automation reduces the time to identify and curb attacks, while protecting users from threats that bypass Secure Email Gateways.

The seeks to help clients “‘out-human’ the phishing threat,” states Aaron Higbee, co-founder and CTO of Cofense.

The reason is that that phishing threats are “human-developed,” Higbee notes.

The company claims that it reduces the time a security analyst spends hunting malicious email.
