B2B Onboarding Firm Onboard Raises $1.25 Million

Onboard, a software firm that helps B2B marketers with customer onboarding, has raised $1.25 million in funding.

The round was led by Ludlow Ventures with participation by Zelkova Ventures and Detroit Venture Partners.

The firm claims that it has dozens of companies leveraging the platform in private beta, and is now open for public signups.

"We're fortunate to have the ability to optimize for learning and customer feedback instead of revenue -- don't get me wrong, we want to make money -- but we're more focused on building a product that solves Customer Onboarding for Businesses," states Onboard CEO Jeff Epstein.

The firm contends that brands are often forced to conduct onboarding via email, GoogleDocs, Asana, or Monday.com.

But these tools lack some onboarding features, it says.

Epstein is the founder of Ambassador Software, a firm that was acquired by 2018 by Intrado. The leadership team also includes co-founders Will Stevenson and Matt Majewski.
