DDB North America is beefing up its Mars Inc. client team with the appointment of Varsha Kaura as global business director. Kaura will lead the cross-market teams servicing the Mars account.

She’ll be based in Chicago and report to Justin Thomas-Copeland, CEO DDB North America.

Previously Kaura was a senior vice president/client partner at Motista where she led client relationships for financial, brokerage and health care clients for the San Francisco-based predictive analytics company.

Earlier she spent a decade at Leo Burnett where she was the account lead for Allstate Insurance and Brooks Sports.
