N-able, the spinoff formerly known as SolarWinds MSP, has named Mike Adler as its chief technology and product officer.

Previously, Adler was chief product officer, security at RSA. Prior to that, he led the Constant Contact engineering team, and has also served at Symantec and Brightmail. 

“Mike will be working alongside our current product leaders to continue advancing our product roadmaps and offerings,” states John Pagliuca, president, N-able. 

N-able helps managed services providers (MSPs) assist small and medium-sized enterprises protect their end customer systems, data, and networks. 

In a related development earlier this week, N-able announced a partnership with DNSfilter to provide MSPs with threat protection and content filtering.
